GROWLY Dog class mild to moderate dog-dog aggressive/reactive dogs. Absolutely NO people aggressive dogs permitted**
NOW EVALUATING DOGS FOR A GROWLY CLASS - Does your dog react badly on his leash when he encounters another dog? (Reactive behaviors include bucking, lunging, and frenzied barking). This behavior is fear-related - not a show of dominance! We will explore the reason for this reaction and practice techniques to greatly minimize the reactive behavior. Muzzles required. ABSOLUTELY NO METAL COLLARS OR SHOCK COLLARS PERMITTED!

Class Descriptions
Private Training- One on one training with the trainer , you and your dog in various locations.
In-home Training -Target specific behavior challenges with your dog in your own home.
Group Obedience Classes - Learn obedience training, improve your handling skills and meet new friends. Group classes are great for socialization and provide a real life training setting. Puppy, Beginner, Intermediate are geared toward socialization and gaining skills to earn your dog's Canine Good Citizen Certificate. Advanced training includes off-leash work.
Outdoor Adventure Class -Training your dog in the "real world." Classes take place In town, parks and trails.
Kids and Dogs - Learn what is involved in caring for a dog. Hands-on workshop introduces kids to handling and walking their dog, general care and games to play with their dog.
Rally-O - A fun team sport for dog and handler where the team negotiates a course with different exercises to perform. Use obedience behaviors you already know and learn some new ones such as: About turn, Left and Right Finish, and Straight Figure 8. AKC Canine Good Citizen Test - The CGC is a certification program that is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home and in the community. The Canine Good Citizen Program is a two-part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners and basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10-step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.Many dog owners choose Canine Good Citizen training as the first step in training their dogs. The Canine Good Citizen Program lays the foundation for other activities such as Therapy Dog work, Rally-O, Agility, and more.
